I love love love this shawl – if you like Tunisian Crochet and Mosaic Crochet, then this pattern is for you! This is a lovely shawl that has the most wonderful drape!
I’ve combined the Tunisian Knit Stitch with front post stitches to make a modern fade and to combine colors in a truly unique way. For this pattern I used yarn from Montana Crochet. Ashley is an amazing dyer – if you haven’t checked Montana Crochet out, I would highly recommend it. I signed up for her yarn club last year, and these beautiful colors are from that collection. I used the colorways Grey Wolf, American Robin and Big Horn Sheep. These colors work so well together! If you check out #findthepathshawl on Instagram, you’ll see all the lovely tester versions.
To purchase this pattern, you have two options – Ravelry and Payhip. If you are new to Tunisian crochet, check out this video tutorial which will guide you through the steps:
For this pattern, you will need three contrasting colors in fingering weight yarn. If the colors aren’t a high enough contrast, the mosaic stitches will not show. If you need recommendations for Tunisian hooks, I love my Knitter’s Pride hooks and swivel cords. I highly recommend them!
