Learning how to crochet can be intimidating, but one you learn the basics, there is so much fun to be had!
I was lucky to be taught how to crochet from my grandmother (like so many others!) as a young girl, but I took about a 25 year hiatus from crochet and knitting until a year ago.
Refreshing my skills was like riding a bike – the muscle memory remained and I was fortunate to be able to pick it back up so quickly. I gave my sister-in-law an afghan for her birthday, and she told me that she always wanted to learn how to crochet. I wanted to help teach her how.
The idea for creating video tutorials and patterns was hatched, and I began to sort out how to share my ideas with everyone, not just my sister-in-law. Hence the blog and youtube videos!
