The Serendipity Pullover

Sometimes a pattern sits and waits for the right time to shine, and I can say that it’s finally time to share the Serendipity Pullover with the world. I designed this pattern over two years ago, and I was finally in the right place to get it tech edited, tested and then released.

For the sample I made, I used lovely yarn from The Frosted Stitch in her colorway Fallout in DK weight yarn. So many of my patterns are in the fingering weight yarn, that I forget how quickly DK can work up! Also, with this pattern having short sleeves, you won’t be in sleeve island!

I love the little detail in this pattern – the unique neckline shape, the shoulder detailing, and the Tunisian crochet ribbing along the bottom and the sleeves. These little touches make my designer heart so happy!

The pattern is available on Ravelry and Payhip now!

As always, there is a video tutorial to help guide you through the making process:

And check out the lovely tester versions on Instagram!

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

  • DK weight yarn (see Yarn Notes and Final Dimensions for more information)
  • 6.5 mm (US) Tunisian Crochet hook with a 16-32” cable or hook needed to make gauge.
  • 6.5mm (US) crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • 3-4 Stitch Markers
  • Tapestry needle for seaming and weaving in ends.

And here’s a table to help you with yardages based on size. This is a size inclusive design, with sizes from 1-9 available!

I hope you found this pattern and tutorial helpful. If you want to keep up with my crochet adventures, follow me here on Instagram.

Happy Crocheting!
